My Barn Find Resto begins

Did you use stripper to get all the paint off and then a grinder or just the gridner?

3M makes a "sand blaster" disc for 4" grinders that works very well for removing paint without removing metal or getting things too hot. I use them to clean up the metal after using chemical stippers. I prefer to just media blast things though.

Do you media blast at your house or do you own a shop?

I use my father's equipment. It is done outdoors in a field. Always try to find a cool dry day to do the work. Most of my Midget I stripped using chemicals and discs, except the engine bay, underside, and interior. I sand blasted those.

I know its momma was Orental?

Boy the vents sure look great. Old man Healey missed the boat on that one.

Think I would find a way to put the lights back where they belong. Smaller units maybe?
