Musical sugestions needed

Brooding?

what about Gordon Lightfoot?

Sorry, I tend to lean more country and classic rock so I'm probably not helpful.

Not nessisarily brooding. I was using mvt1 v.s 3 as an example. While it is my favorite piece (played correctly) it's not something I'd care to listen to every day. Each note should convey a feeling, that's what music is about, telling a story. Sometimes that story is with words, sometimes it's the emotion sent through the instrument. I hope this makes sense.

I'm a Diana Krall fan now, she knows what I'm talking about.

And then there's this duo:

Civil Wars is great stuff, isn't there another couple similar to them that was psoted here a while back or am I thinking of them?

"tells a story" Hmmm

"in spite of ourselves" John Prine and Iris Dement. lol

Not sure. I know I posted their cover of "Billie Jean" a while back. Slight improvement over Michael Jackson...

PUP!

Billie- I hope you are kidding
If not your booted out of the old man club

Dang, I thought Entwistle was a calm bass player

I can't play that type of music
I can't sit like that longer than 10 secs

Well just finished watching that Billie.
Thanks. I enjoyed it immensely.
I find that music similar to a classic piece.
Starts off really slow then builds to a great crescendo .

Is there any relation between John Paul White and Jack White? Jack is singing in the bottom video.
