I can remember the first time I saw a JPS parked outside a nearby restaurant.
I couldn't decide what I thought about it.
I looked at it from one angle.....Then I walked around it......Then I walked around it again.
All I can say is that it doesn't look like anything else I have ever seen.

Besides.....Nothing ever goes wrong with the DeLo.....
I get the feeling it doesn't care if I drive it or not.
 
I always thought they were ~great looking~ cars. First one I ever saw was in "dahntahn" Beaver Falls, in about 1968. Have a photo of me pseudo-leanin' on it someplace here inna hovel. Likely right with the photo of a bunch of us waterskiing beside the Edmund Fitzgerald, in Ashtabula Harbor.

Hmmmm... I wonder if the EF had an alternator or generator. Didn't this thread have something to do with a generator at one time.

Not makin' fun of it; actually DO have those pix. Did ski around it. IIRC, it was lost on Superior, not Erie.

...and where IS the "VROOM-vroom" post?!
 
I'm still at work (physically at least, mentally I'm elsewhere today--it is a Friday) and won't be home for a couple more hours. I've got a nice list of things to try, so hopefully that Vroom Vroom post is only a short while away...

Ummm... I was only being silly about the whole EF thing. In Drew's heritage cert post, Jeff mentioned his dad was on a lake boat. Sorry if I made anyone feel bad. I need to learn how to use them smiley things so you guys know when I am being a smart alec.

Also, when I made comments about being OT, I was also being silly. As you all know, I am in thread stealing training under Doc.
