TR4/4A More restoration questions

Proceeding along. 2 questions:
1. Where does the starter solenoid mount? Can't find the corresponding 2 holes.
2. I got the moss #680-428 seal set to use with the poly gear box cover. Not quite sure how seals fit. Glue them to cover or to the floor? Is there enough to seal the handbrake tunnel cover too?
By the way, I used the speedbleeder.com and they really worked great. I only needed 4 including the clutch slave since there is no bleeder on one rear cylinder as it crosses over to feed the other side. I ordered 5.
I'm sure there will be more questions later. Sadly it was 15 or 20 years ago when I stripped the car down and I have trouble remembering last week.

Sorry I can't help, Al.
But you might consider adding your car's details to your signature. Sometimes, the commission number makes a difference.
And the smart phone interface (which I'm using at the moment) doesn't even show model name.

That's one of those changes I was talking about.

Thanks for the picture. I would have never guessed where the solenoid was mounted as my battery box area was clapped out and the holes were missing from the body shop repairs.
I was distracted by the flash on the valve cover and it was hard to see. Looked square at first glance. I have wanted to bling up the motor compartment with an alloy valve cover but the price has me thinking about other necessary purchases. Maybe later on.
Anyway, much appreciated for your help.

Well I see the holes next to the battery box, I see all the pictures showing the solenoid mounted there, but unfortunately the new wiring harness pig tail for the solenoid will not reach that far. Short by a good 8 or 9 inches. I could wire up some extension leads but I think it will be easier and look better if I relocated it.
No one told me that this would be easy
