OK really it is my TR250, but it is the same as the early TR6 motor.
I have a couple questions, first, the single roller chain for the cam looks pretty wimpy to me, is going to the later double roller an advisable upgrade?, is it bolt on or do you need some machining done the the crank?
Second, I see the later TR6s have a dual downpipe manifold, I think I can pick one of these up from a freind for little or nothing, does the dual downpipe manifold breath better, looks like they used it on the TR5 so my guess is yes. I need to replace the whole exhoust system from the manifold back anyway, so no issue there I don't think, also does it bolt right up or do you need the later head? Is the later head better or worse from a performance standpoint?
