(1) I see that the dimmer switch wiring comes up
by the clutch/brake box. Does anyone have a picture or know where the harness routes across to get in touch with the main harness? I've got the wires hooked up OK, high/low beams working fine, just not sure of where to place the harness.

(2) Under the dash, where the harness goes through the firewall to the engine comparment, just befrore the grommet (inside the car), there's 3 or 4 wires that are 'hot'.
Not sure where these go. Do they connect to the rear harness, or does the rear harness go through the firewall grommet to plug into the connectors that are right by the firewall?

FYI - I'm using the Bugeye Wiring poster that's sold on Ebay - very helpful. Two others things that are needed - a VOM meter and a explaination of th Lucas color codes...and beer.

Sure is nice working with clean wires that actually have color codes other than greasy black and dirty grey!

I believe it cross's the engine compartment just under the leading edge of the battery- heater box shelf there should be a couple of tabs on the body that hold it there.

All my headlights are working fine, with high and low-beams.
Does anyone know where those hot wires are for justr before the firewall in
the passenger compartment?
 
The ones that go to the rear of the car?
 
Jack, the harness that goes to the rear of Miss Agatha, does it connect to the
hot wires before the grommet, or does it connected to the wires just past the firewall in the engine compartment?
 
Thanks Duncan, I've got a smaller version of that list...but this is better. Will soon be laminated and in my garage.
 
The wires in front of the firewall go forward to the front of the bonnet for the lights etc. The ones behind the firewall under the dash go to the rear of the car for the tail lights, turn signals, and the license plate light.
