Modified Thermostat housing for a '74 B

True. On the next one I'll add the extra notch that way I can use it for any year.

Seems to be a lot of trouble modifying an old one, when for 20 bucks you can have a new one from Moss and just bolt it on. JMHO. PJ

Believe it or not it only took me about 4 minutes. 1 Minute of waterjet cutting and 3 minutes of grinding.

The studs appear to be a little long, or are those for the SUPERCHARGER mounting bracket? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif
 
That's why I asked about the bolts. A buddy brought these over when we pulled the engine and when I started to re-assemble, realized they were too long. I have a few old studs & one new one that are the right size but might use the bolts instead.
 
Stainless bolts would look nice.
