Just had to share the utter joy that was my lunch. We had steaks last night, and I just took the leftovers, got out my super-sharp Global carving knife, cut a whole stack of nice super-thin slices, tossed them in a sauté pan with olive oil and some salt, put it on a left-over hunk of french bread, added some thinly sliced Vermont cheddar, and voila!

Let us all give thanks to that renown genius -- the Earl of Sandwich. So say we all! :bow:
 
sounds awesome I wish they would pay us at work today so I could try that out going week 3 with no pay checks

As for cheesesteaks, as South Jersey kids, we often went to Philly for those.

But when I started college ('68), I was introduced to "Greasy Tony's" in New Brunswick (NJ) right near the Rutgers campus.

The sign in the front window of that place always said:
"No Charge For The Extra Grease!"

Hopefully we get paid tomarrow but they have been telling that lie evry day for two weeks and 3 days now so I have very little faith in them any more.
