well, they were readjusted in the parking lot yesterday, poorly but it runs better now. It is idleing at about 1700. Strange thing but it occassionally drops down to about 1000 for afew minutes then back to 1700. Yesterday when I set the idle to 1000, it would be fine then drop to tick over and die, so I put the idle high. I had hoped to readjust fine tune tonight, BUT OH NO I CANNOT DO THAT. THE DICKWEED AT THE GARAGE BROKE A WHEEL STUD PUTTING ON NEW TIRES AND HE CANNOT GET A NEW STUD TILL TOMORROW !!!! He put the air gun to the wheel nuts and snapped one...ARRRGH !!. SO the car will be at the garage till tomorrow after work when I can get to it...Well at least the forecast is for rain tomorrow....
 
You know one missing wheel stud is not a big problem, just take it easy.
 
They would not let me take it home. Liability, they broke it they fix it, If I drive it broken they could be liable in case of an accident.....
 
If you are ever at a shop & see them using an air gun on wheel studs, quickly leave & never go back. It's hard to guess how many brake rotors have been warped by over-torquing, & or uneven torquing with an air gun. Over torquing can also permanently stretch a stud so that it fails later. Any shop worth going to, will use a torque wrench. This includes tire shops.

watch out for the gaskets on ur air filters...if put them on backwards they will block the holes also.........z
