Midgets in Portugal

PayPal is probably a good method for this, and I'd say worth the charge to know that the money is *really* there. You still wind up making more than your reserve, and don't have to worry about fraudulent transfers.

Why not use a wire transfer? Much cheaper than Paypal and very secure. Once the transfer is made, the money is in your account, and that's it. Almost impossible for the guy to reclaim it (which he can, through Paypal) or do something fraudulent. Also, Paypal will prevent you from transferring the money out of your Paypal account for several days.

Bank transfer/wire transfer is the method we are pursuing and what I've been told to use by others. Stood in the garage last night and stared at the little sweetie. Almost like selling off a family member, but more emotional.
She'll have quite an adventure crossing the big pond. Had to stop myself from quick doing everything else I've been planning on doing.

Wire transfer complete, money in bank. Starting to work with shipper. Very sad to let it go but there's more where this came from when the time comes again. Shipper says NOTHING can be in the car which is bit hard nosed but that means some of the bits won't be going with it I guess. Sure hope he likes it. Going to be tough to return if not! It has been a very interesting couple of years with it and I've learned a phenomenal amount mostly from trolling the vast reservoir of experience right here, can't thank you guys enough. If anyone comes across a nice '63 in Portugal, give her a kiss for me would ya? Not sure how I feel about it going out of country but it is cool it will be a very rare bird over there (I'd think).

Maybe as it is rare there it will be taken care of.

So, this might just be a coincidence, but I doubt it. read this on the MG Experience this morning - go to the last post.

Not my buyer. This guy sounds like he's currently in Florida and traveling. Sending his cars ahead. A life I wouldn't mind.
