Miata seat prep continues

When my wife wants to drive or my little nephews ride in the car. I just hate things that are hard to operate and my wife always has trouble moving the TR seats (she always did), even with new track assemblies. They were no better than the original ones.

Remember Don, "a happy wife, is a happy life".......

Used to be Don, used to be.....

Ouch, ouch...I was only kidding honey, honest..............

So now I know what Bobby D meant about the "pleating foam."

I delivered the speaker wiring harnesses and the speaker boxes and new speakers. Eddie will finish the pleated sections today and begin sewing everything together and start test fitting the covers by the weekend.

These pleats are only half done according to Eddie. They need to be sewn again from the opposite side.

Tom,

Same size as the stock TR6 pleat that is molded into the seat. That's my link to the past in these seats. No, it was not completely my idea. I was thinking about it, then I saw a blue interior on BobbyD's site that showed these pleats and I wanted to do it too.
