I have 2 questions:
A)Does anyone know the allowable endplay in the distributor drive gear? I read it someplace, but I can't find it again and I've gotten behind in my photographic memory classes so I don't remember the number. I don't think that I dreamed it. It would affect timing, I think.
2) I also read that there is a difference in the flingers on the crankshaft, inside the timing cover. I had to replace the cover and crank pulley. Fortunately they are compatible , the timing mark on both moved to the top, so their relationship has not changed. Now I'll check timing from above. But do I need a different flinger?
