Mines coming along nicely now Emptying out the storage sheds in the back tomorrow then they go so I'll have more room. Then it will be drywalled. In 2 weeks the pit of despair gets epoxied and then the lift goes in. Volvo should be green by the end of the week.

Excellent progress. Lift will be lovely.
 
About 2 weeks away from being mostly complete. Have to wait 60 days to redo the floor as the previous cabinets inside turned out to be a cluster #$##. Someone poured concrete over asphalt and then built the cabinets on top of them.

Looks good, Stewart! But don't think I've ever seen a cantilever lift before - interesting!
 
Nice use of space with that lift. Bummer on the concrete/cabinets. It's amazing what some folks will do -- and I hope the next owner of my shop many years down the road doesn't say the same things about me... :)

Lift didn't budge during the earthquakes with a 3900 pound bmw on it at full height. Wish I had a camera on it as I'm sure it was moving. Now if I need to I can easily get 4 cars inside the garage. Pretty good for what started out as a 2 car carport.
