Wahooo, after eighteen months I'm pretty well done with the 1956 MGA resto. It's not as perfect as I wanted, but not bad looking. I've learned, re-learned and unlearned mechanical, bodywork, painting and cussing skills and wouldn't have traded the experience for anything. Next is the 1958 MGA!! Hopefully, lessons learned from the '56 will transfer to the '58.
My most favorite test pilot is behind the wheel looking awfully possesive, what?

Very nice looking A, nice and fresh.

Thanks All, This is just what is needed after arduous labor! Just a few months ago I was experiencing "restorers block" and was really frustrated with the progress of the bodywork. The kind words at that time were very much appreciated and an anodyne to the malaise.

Truth. I been "draggin' butt" onna MGB here for lack of "proddin'". Now the Lotus forum has enervated me to just "git ON wif it!"

Y'know you'll only have USE of an MGA if there's TWO inna stable! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

To Doc... Poke Prod Poke Prod Poke Prod... onnna MGB annnda Elans!!!!!!!!

Without the suport, kind words, and assistance of the folks here I would still be cleaning parts.

Hey that's what the '58 MGA is for...been down that road before.
