Jean and I will be leaving for Breckenridge, CO for MG2009 in the 1969 MGC at about 0500 Monday.
The car is ready (just a few bags to be thrown in) as it just returned from a great week in North Carolina for the British V8 meet.
I did take the hardtop off of it (first time since 2003) and put the soft top on (it has a zip out rear window, AKA "air conditioning"!)
We're taking the Kansas route out, visiting the Eisenhower Museum tomorrow and overnighting in Hays, KS. Then Tuesday we will drive to Colorado Springs and up to Breckenridge.
Looks as though we'll be missing a lot of rain...but the temperatures are to be in the upper 90's through Illinois, Missouri, and Kansas. :frown:
We'll be returning home on Sunday, taking the more northern, Nebraska route. It's about an hour shorter than the Kansas route (and I've not seen Nebraska yet).
The car ***should*** run like a top (but I've learned over the years to expect the unexpected).
I'll stop by here periodically.
