T-Series MG TD Brake adjustment

I will be helping a friend adjust the brakes on his TD. Is the process simply turning the adjustment screw in until the drums rub on the shoes and then backing off the screw a bit?

Thanks.
Ron

Ron - That's basically all there is to it. Just keep in mind that there are two adjusters for each front wheel (twin leading shoes) and a single adjuster for each rear wheel. Sometimes, if the rear shoes are worn a bit, the adjuster runs out of adjustment for the rear brakes. If this is the situation, contact me by e-mail at SUfuelpumps@donobi.net and I can give you further information on how to deal with this situation.
Cheers,

Thanks Dave and rggav.
The schedule is for Sunday and I will advise if adjusting the brakes failed to solve the problem (low pedal). I have checked for external leaks and there are none.
