Triumphs reliable? As compared to MG's? (raising one eyebrow).
37 here. My 3rd car at 18 was a Spitfire. Daily Driver, and worked on it weekly to keep it going. It was a 71 and 15 years old at the time. My MGB is a 75 and 30 years old now. The B is so much like the Spitfire in personality and the way its put together, its almost like working on the same car. ALMOST. The B at 30 is just like the Spit at 15. I've had 4 other Spits though the years and this is my first B. Honestly, in those days, B's were too expensive for me to afford. I could find reasonably priced Spits, but B's were hard to find for under 5,000. That was a little steep for a kid working in fast food. I won't say that I like one car over the other. They both have their own personalities, but at the same time they are both LBC's. They share MANY common traits. I just a fan of british cars in general, and all be told, I would have a Lotus Europa if I had my choice.
Anyway, It is interesting to see the age grouping. I figgured it would be an older crowd, as most of the younger people I run into have no clue what kind of car the B is. Heck, most people havn't a clue =P I'm glad that there are a few who do =)
