I'm working on a 58 MGA. Not nice enough to make a show car but will make a good driver. I have a 72 B 1800 engine I'd like to put in it. Can anyone help me with what is needed at the flywheel, bell housing? Are the rear plates interchangeable? Thanks for any help Ed Ryan
 
Ed - you might get an answer here but perhaps more responses on the MG portion of our show (go to 'Forums' and select MG).
 
I believe it's a straight forward bolt in swap, but like geo said try the MG forum
