Mercedes mechanic?

We have yet another Mercedes mechanic in the forum!

Engine got rough as I was heading into Clarksville TN. Mickey saved the day, by diagnosing and fixing the problem: the set screw had loosened, and the points weren't opening. See October 25 entry:

In Tennessee I learned a new culinary term. When ordering ham and eggs at breakfast, if the waitress asks "sweet or salty?", she means the ham. Southern cured ham isn't sweet and honey coated - and it's *great*!

Country ham - hard to beat that!

Again, it was a great visit with you Tom, and puttering on your Ponton was a pleasure. (Boy, THAT sounds weird!)

I'm always amazed at the connections I've made due to this forum. I cannot stress enough the importance to all of us to "check in" with members when we're traveling. Adds a whole 'nother dimension to our experience here.

And Tom: Janet and I are looking forward to a trip up your way!

Glad one of us could render assistance.

Now I want breakfast!

Actually every scene with Ms Tomei in it :encouragement:

Especially near the end when she "owns" the courtroom with her testimony about positraction and the lack thereof!

BTW, in case we think there is only one epic Mercedes journey taking place, today we went to Buffalo for some lunch and shopping, no sooner had I crossed the border than I passed a Mercedes 280se coupe with California tags! Guy was staring very intently at ? Fuel gauge? Temperature? Something. Fun though
