Measurement of windscreen glass

I am wondering if and how much my windscreen frame is bent, and was hoping a fellow member might have some glass out of the frame they could measure. As it is, I cannot get my hood on because in the middle the gap is too small, assuming its either bent back a bit or sitting in the rubber in a strange manner. Does anyone have a windscreen they could measure, putting a straight edge from upper corner to corner, and see how deep the arc of the glass is? With that I can compare to my frame and get an idea of where my problem lies.

Ok the best I could do
your going to need some ship building skills
i clamped a very straight board across my top portion of the frame
I used the lift the dots as regency pionts to get center
measuring from the inboard edge of the frame to the edge of the board
the curve is a decreasing arch.
i stationed some measurements from the driver side lift the dot
station 0 = 0”
station 2 @ 6” = 0.25”
station 3 @ 12” =0.55”
station 4 @ 16” = 0.75”
station 5 @ 21” = 0.80


So what I would do is
on a 1x4 inch board is mark center on 42”
then mark the stations on th edge
take a square mark the pulled station measurements.
the find a thin piece of flexible wood or whatever batten
put finish nails at the pulled station measurements and put the batten against the stations

For the cowl contact area of the frame that would need to be done off the car can’t help there but the same strategy would apply
and it is a different curve .

He had the plans drawn on the white painted wood floor next to the boat
called it a lofting floor it was an amazing thing to watch him pull measurements
from it .
 
Are you looking for the bottom or top curve?? I have a BE frame sitting in the corner that I could have a look at.
 
Top curve, but I think SD got me some good info. I have a spare frame that I just laid on the concrete slab in the garage and took a measurement on that, and came up with about 1" of curve. Any chance you can see what yours has Joe?
