Seen the cost of --- anything?Seen the cost for getting into Disney World lately?
She saw it on the local news Tom, 3 or 4 days ago. I have no idea where this was supposed to take place. PJPaul - where are McDonalds prices so high? Even here in overpriced Connecticut, a Big Mac with medium fries and a soda are $6.95. $8.95 down near NYC. $16? yikes!
Who still goes out to eat? Just walk past a restaurant and dream.
(I agree with Bob about the profits from the companies that say their costs are escalating. They're escalating alright, but not nearly as much as the prices they're charging us. The Walmart "Good Housekeeping" paper towel rack that cost me $6.95 last year is now $16.95. Oh, c'mon.)
grumble grumble
At present, I think you're living in the past.
Except for the small sizes shown, those look like the cases of food be brought aboard the boat. Thanks John. The McDonalds is in Idaho - and maybe the franchises can set their own prices.
Anyway, prices of everything but gas are going up. Hope we don't return to the Stagflation and "generic foods" of the 1970s and early 1980s.
