P.S. The young man shown working to prepare the Lady is NOT me. he is Brian S, a good friend and auto mechanic/restorer extraordinaire!

YAY!

She looks fantastic, Frank. I know you're proud.

Gray and red make a classic combination!

I had the distinct pleasure of viewing her debut... PICTURES DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE!!! Frank, that is an amazing job and is a very precise restoration. My hat is off!

She looks great, Frank, drive her in good health. Looking forward to checking out your photos....

Gorgeous Frank. I really think you should get that into the VTR National this October in Galveston. I'll work on the visa for you

I remember you had a pretty unusual car there - did you get much conversation on the Aeroscreens? Without that heritage certificate it would be a hard sell to the judges I think given the commission number. It looked right at home next to TS1!

I'd love to see it sometime, I need some good reference shots and that is a great car to use for reference.

Looks great. I'd like to see a few pictures of what it looked like before you started -how else are we supposed to know it's not completly original?

Well done, enjoy.

VERY nice, Frank!!! Just wish I could drool on it in person.

Beautiful... Just beautiful... Shiny too!

Randy: Galveston is quite a haul, but maybe.

My car is a little unusual and no doubt due to the fact that it was built within days of a very major change in design. So, I have features of pre and post TS60000.

No problem with the aeroscreens because they are the real thing and since Triumph listed them as an option (mostly for club racers) into the 1960's.

Jerry, I wish I had a nickel for every person who asked to see before photos, but I didn't have time for bring any to the meet.
The first photos I took were with an early digital camera with a 1 megapixel CD. All told I have about 5000 photos and I know Brian has some of his own. if there is anything specific that you need just send me a PM and I'll try to help.

Here are a few of my favorites.

I had the distinct pleasure to judge the Gray Lady's underhood portion of TRA's very restrictive and detailed Concours Guide. Concours is roughly defined as "how the car looked at the end of the assembly line" and as such any "mods" for whatever silly reason will receive demerits.

The Gray Lady's final score was an outstanding 98.0 and as the top score earned the prestigious TRA Best of Show award. To have won that award in its first showing is just short of amazing. Take a bow Frank!

The level of competition at TRA's Concours is intense for I finished sixth with a score of 96.5!
