Master Cylinder Plunger

I just received my re-sleeved TR6 master cylinder back and in the process of installing a rebuild kit noticed the plunger has some corrosion and slight pitting.

What are my options here? I don't want to destroy the new sleeve.

Thanks.

Could you post a photo of the plunger? Isn't there a seal on the plunger that rides against the cylinder so any slight pitting could be buffed out with no ill affect?
