If you would like to try some different "looks" or styles for the site, scroll to the very bottom, on the left and click the Style Selector.
if it is the earlier style that is metal on metal with the horizontal clamp that just wedges the manifold to the pipe I used muffler tape around the joint before putting the clamp on & it worked great, no leaks.
A stock '66 uses no gasket, just metal on metal. Put it together carefully and be sure to use the bracket that attaches to the transmission (to keep the pipe from swinging and breaking off of the manifold) and you will have many miles of "quiet" driving.

OK I'll give it a try. I did succeed a couple of years ago but for the past year it loosens up and falls down. It is hard to feel or see if you have the V symmetrically captured the flared cast maniforld and the sheet metal tube/pipe.
948 and 1098 clamps are different so be sure you have the right one. Everything
has to be up to snuff or they can be a real pain. There is a reason they changed that system!!
