I'm soooo dumb. I did not check the rear wheel cylinders before trying to fix the breaks on my 73 B GT. Tonight I decided to pull the brake drums and have a look after borrowing a mityvac from a neighbor. The Vac would not get any fluid out of the passenger rear cylinder. I pulled the drum and founf enough fluid to indicate this is where one problem is located. Will rebuild cylinder and try to bleed brakes.

What a dumby!!! Two weeks of work and I did not pull the drums. Auggggh. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif

Been there. Done that. Well, not THAT, but similar. Well, not that similar but sort of similar. Well, kinda, in a way, but not really.

Well ~I~ never did anything like that!

... yeah, right!

Oh, th' stories I could tell...

Not stupid people, just people doing stupid things. It happens a lot... even when I'm not around.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Of course...it is a well known fact that you always find something (including LBC problems) the last place you look! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

Found I had two of the cups in the MC backwards. The first time I took it apart I only changed one around. Last night I took it apart again and had the drawing in the manual on the bench to go by. The rear cylinder was the recipent of all the goo from bleeding the brakes after setting two years. I was able to clean it out and put it back together. I am now a Knight of the Click as I reset the pressure switch by the click method. The only thing I have not torn apart are the disc calipers and I want to avoid that. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif
