TR5/TR250 Lost Turn Signals

This is crazy. Rebuilt my steering column new switches and push connectors, new hazard relay and had everything working perfectly. Then tonight getting ready to button everything up and the turn signals stopped working. Traced wires and I have power to the flasher unit dark green wire but when I check the green brown wire where it comes out of the harness on the driver side no power. Even if I take the flasher out and put a jumper wire in still no juice. Now I ran a hot wire to the green brown wire that goes into the column switch and wired in the flasher and it all worked. Should mention that the 4 ways still work. So how can or where could I have lost a connection between the flasher unit and the harness under the dash?

Looking at the elect. print it may just be the connectors as you lost LH and RH and not just one side the common to the turn switch. If it is new from Moss check with a meter with power off then on. The switch may just have grease on contacts. Madflyer

I actually figured it out tonight. One of my customers suggested a bad ground while another (a former TR mechanic) reminded me that the power goes through the hazard switch first then the column switch. Pulled the hazard switch jumped the green brown wire and it worked. Don't know what I did but started to get a connection in the hazard switch too. All is well now. Thanks!
