62 degrees in St. Louis in January.
Clear sky.
Full moon.
Top down.
Radio works.
Heater works.

Running down the highway with my hair blowing and the speakers thumping out some Doobie Brothers.

Took everything I had to bring her back to the garage.

It just doesn't get any better than this, does it?

Sounds great! Good for you! (I wish it would warm up enough to get mine out of the garage /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Ummm, you're in LA, define "BRISK!" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif

I have a very good friend in Baton Rouge who panics when it drops below 50!

I should hope so....it has a head-start! I would love to see 62 degrees right now. Heck, 42 would be nice! Enjoy it, take a drive for me will you?

Heater works because took a pair of pliers and I moved that dohickymajiggythingamabob under the hood from the 'forward' position to the 'back' position. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif Fixed it myself I did! And just had to make sure it was working! Top's still down. Figure I can get some driving in tomorrow before it turns cold (i.e., below 45) and I have to put it back up awhile.

If I were a generous person, I'd send you some of this weather, but sorry! Keeping it all for myself!!

That is one of the nice things about living in Houston (one of the very few) is that, this morning for example it was 60 degrees outside, top down, heater on and took the back roads to work. (OK, i am just outside of Houston so I do have some backroads)

Of course, everyone else will be in much better shape in the summer since it gets to about 95 here at 85% humidity (on a cool day) Once that gets closer, I will have to see about getting the A/C working again, and by then should have a good 100hp or so to have fun with /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I would love to have just one weekend of above 50 degree weather, so I could open the garage doors and paint some part with POR15 before I put my rear suspension back together. Heck, last weekend it was below 50 degrees in my basement garage...and and below 20 outside ;-(

Well, March is not to far away ;-)

-13 celcius here(not sure what that is in degrees F)but trust me it's darn cold! Another 5 inches or so of snow just fell last night! All I want is one day above freezing so I can get the salt off the cars!

Well gotta love STL in the winter. Is in the 30's here today.

But the snow looks pretty /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

EM>>>Rub it in - go ahead, we can take it. Hey, you're not anywhere near those bush fires I've been hearing about are you? That's more WA, near Perth isn't it, or are the fires more widespread? Stay safe over there.

77Midg & Bruce>>>I would gladly take some of that snow you've gotten the past week. We haven't had a proper snowfall all winter here. I think the most on the ground at one time was maybe 3" and that is just so not acceptable. But it's nearly Feb., I'm about to give up on a snow and hope for a warm and early spring!!

Jaybird

Bushfires are in just Outside Perth (now under control) and in South Australia (also now under control but not before there were some fatalities).

We had horrendous smoke haze in Perth last week, couldn't see much more than a block and a half in the CBD, very unusual for Perth.

Needless to say they are believed to have all been deliberately lit.

regards

Tom

Who is also enjoying temperate conditions but further West and without brewing up the old girls...

Got about 20-24" on the ground right now. I have always thought that winter wasn't proper without snow, but it can cause issues when you get it all in 4 days! The best part of getting a lot of snow is that it makes for great springs and summers (fishing, boating, parks, etc). Tough to get out in the garage and work on the car though. Once the Patriots win another SB, I'll look forward to the warmer weather!
