I love this thing!
It's a vintage Leyat Helica and I saw it on SpeedTV recently (it was at Goodwood). Propulsion is solely by propellor and steering operates on the rear wheel. I'd be right at home: it's a lot like my old taildragger Aeronca.
This car's been in the same family since new. No explaination about what happens to jaywalkers that step in front of it's whirling prop. "Viva Le Cuisnart!", I guess.
Note: I just past 2000 posts...I gotta get a life!
