LED bulbs and electronic flasher module issues

I'm using the rear reflector lamps installed on my BJ7 currently. Will adding LED's work properly, and are they even more brighter?

OK Roger, how'd you get the brake lights to activate when there was no one in the car to step on the pedal???? I'm guessing either a ghost or a very short person...... I had to have my wife help out with the braking shot for my photos......

I used the kiss approach.
Leaned one of my jack stands against the brake pedal.

Roger, that's so unlike you. I thought for sure you had fabricated a special device, hidden of course, that would step on the brakes by remote control.
