TR2/3/3A Latest of the TR2 sale.

Re: up-date of the TR2 sale.

Glad to see it found a good home. If I'd had the room and my Hathaway was finished, I'd have been all over this, but I just couldn't do it at this time =)

I wont recommend Panalpina for shipping either. I finally got a refund because their trucker refused to deliver to my house despite my having paid for delivery to my door... So I had to rent a trailer and drive to the warehouse in Boston to pick up my car crate. Took several months though.

Re: up-date of the TR2 sale.

I'm pleased with the results here. Glad to hear Marv is happy. I'll agree, those shippers were an interesting bunch.
I look forward to seeing what Marv can do with the ol' TR.
Now, here I am, all my TR parts gone, starting a new chapter, feeling good. And out of left field It looks like I may be a TR owner again. It seems I have a benefactor that wants me to be the future caretaker of his TR since he's unable to enjoy it now. Personally, I'd trade every TR I ever had or will have to be able to keep my friend, but this is his wish, and reality can't be changed.
I'll fill in details when this is all settled, but it looks to be quite an adventure.

Ben
Something must be in the air right now. I'm now going to look at and probably buy a 58 A/H 100/6 on Tuesday. I looked at this car over a year ago and made an offer on it. The guy is working overseaa and must have extended his contract to work there. Anyway got an email that he would take my offer. Its a restored car, just been sitting for some time. This may kill my money for a while on the TR2 work.
