There are those who feel aluminum frames give a harsher ride than carbon fiber. An "e" assisted sub 27lb. road bike is attractive to that old (later 70's and up) roadie that is finding it more difficult to stay up with the group. Both these "e" Aria's were sold to two gentlemen who liked the idea of not being "dropped" or holding back their younger legged buddies.
