Koos Fra-ba!! Koos Fra-bahhh!!!

After delaying our kitchen cabinet install date by two weeks due to a damaged base cabinet that had to be reordered, I just learned there is a good chance the new cabinet will not be here in time for the new install date (21 July). May have to move the date back another week!

Anyone know a good divorce lawyer?

Install date should have been in the pre-nups

I feel your pain. Nothing quite a frustrating as a remodel of a kitchen or bath... with delays. Hard to live that way.

You're not kidding! Sick of eating off paper plates and having several boxes of kitchen stuff taking up space in the LR!

That is pretty awful Bas, being without a kitchen stinks; I hope it comes in earlier than they think. Also, that Darius Rucker guy looks a little like an older Hootie.

We were using a laundry sink for over 8 weeks... with a microwave and refrigerator in our dining room. And THEN there's all the dust (even with screens up).

Our deal is a bathroom... tried to do it in ~stages~ as it's the only "necessary" we have. Herself was totally against the idea of a slit-trench inna back yard, too. I volunteered to hose her down back there but THAT was struck down with vehemence as well. So it came down to a several month transition with me doing mud packing for a shower and converting plumbing from in-slab to overhead in pieces and bits in DAYS. Still not finished with the vanity and associated plumbing.

Home ownership is HIGHLY over-rated! :jester:

He looks like Hootie for good reason - He was Hootie!

"He was Hootie!"

Where are the Blowfish then?

He blew them off.

According to the band members themselves, none of them is Hootie or Blowfish. They claim those were nicknames for a couple of guys they knew in college, neither of whom were in the band.

I guess that makes them Hootie & the Blowfish collectively.

Well that just doesn't make any sense. Next you are going to tell me Jethro Tull wasn't the lead vocalist for his band.

I have posted this before so I apologize in advance. But, here is a partial solution for you, Doc.

Meanwhile, back to the topic! Install is scheduled to begin Monday (21 Jul) and scheduled for three days. The needed replacement base cabinet left the Thomasville factory yesterday and should hit the main distro center here in Tuesday (day 2 of the install period). I'm going to have them start the install Monday and the store is working with the distro center to ensure I get that base cabinet as soon as possible Tuesday. Hopefully the install can be completed then.

Here's hoping that "just-in-time" delivery works. :rolleye:

I can smell it even today, Mark. I suggested a slit-trench in th' back yard and was immediately pummeled.

Here's hoping Basil's marriage survives.

Mmm mmm... is that possum stew?
