OK, I'm late, what else is new.

No video - no post.

Randy Bachman (Bachman Turner Overdrive - and now the host of Vinyl Tap) says this is the best one hit wonder of all time. I am not 100% sure but it is waaay up there for me - fun ear worm.

What's yours? - again, we want to see video.

(BTW - Andy Kim wrote and performed this - he is Canadian and did another favourite 'Rock me Gently' back in '74. He is of Lebanese descent and stopped touring (his words) because everyone came to his concerts expecting a blond surfer sound and getting a Lebanese Canadian complexion instead.

Two of my favorite one-hit wonders:

Mungo Jerry, In the Summertime

and Sugarloaf - Green Eyed Lady. (This band got their start as a bar band in Denver when I was in Highschool).

Even when young, wouldn't wear Ray Dorset's shirt or sideburns/beard, the look wasn't what I'd want to see. But I did have beel bottoms and boots like those in high school.

Ah, the 70’s

Two more:

Loving all these... taking me back.
Here's one I fondly remember:

Great choices! I've got the Strawberry Alarm Clock and Sugarloaf albums on vinyl here. Among the others, Mungo Jerry and Starland were the ones I didn't have 45's of.

Wow - I just watched every one of the videos. I was 20 again.

(And being 20 was a very dangerous time ...)

Tom M.
PS - don't forget Susan Christie and "I Love Onions".

Well, seing as how Halloween is just around the corner, we shouldn't forget this one-hit wonder:

Kinda subjective and subject to defining "one hit". I think this was their hit song, though they had several recordings. Always liked their sound:
