Not trying to gte around seller fees. Trying to steal $6300 flat out with no car at all. Stole picture and information from somewhere else I am sure.

ebay won't let me bid over $6300 so I will report it.

I still can't believe these scammers "sell" at such absurdly low prices. Plus free shipping no less. Gives the scam away immediately. I said before there are new people to this and I guess maybe one will fall for it.

I believe tis car went for $47K on ebay a short time ago. Either a scam or the fellow really meant $63,000 not $6,300.

Anyone that knows anything about cars (ANY cars) knows this can't be legit. Let us know what happens Bruce.

Maybe it's a divorce settlement thing (doubtful), but I'm sure everyone here has herd the story(s) of someone buying a RR or some other expensive car for like $100 because nobody ever called about it thinking it was a typo.

But with that said, I think it's a scam too. What's weird is he has alot of good feedback. Maybe his account got hijacked.

Yes Kenney, there was a case several years ago involving a RR Car.The man had left it in the care of his girlfriend and the coruts decided that it should be sold and a portion of the funds awarded to the girlfriend. The mans wife decided the girlfriend was not worth more than $100.00.Consequently, the car went unsold for some time until an inquisitive little old lady came to verify the sale price and bought it on the spot.---Keoke--- /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
 
I heard it was a widow selling her dead husbands car, and didn't need the money, but couldn't stand the car as it kept reminding her of him.

And, A divorsee ex wife who won half the sold value of the car and the right to sell it, she really wanted to hurt him good...

I sent an email but no reply. The fact that there is free shipping and no reserve - 100% scam. It isn't a typo.

Most likely as you said - an account has been hijacked.

Idiots for saying free shipping. Never will happen. I don't care if one's father is the president let alone some father-in-law employeee.

Someone correct me but I am guessing Germany has better health insurance than the US and I am sure it is a lie about a wife anyhow.

I doubt Germany's laws are so tough that a US car of that year built in England can not be registered.

I don't want to help scammers so let them keep posting as they do. It sure sends up dozens of flags.

And this is interesting - I sent him an email saying I got rid of his ebay ad and that basically he is a jerk. I got the exact same "reason for selling email" back. Wonder if some auto response is set up. If so, why?
