I was watching the news & noticed the story on
the major flooding in the St.Louis area.
I know she's been quiet lately - hope things are
allright.

I haven't heard a word. She's been quiet on the forums lately anyway, but it would be nice to hear something so we know all is well.

I was just thinking about the fact she has been quiet lately.
Hope she lets us know all is well!

Her stereo install turned up in the MGB driver magazine this month. At least I think is was her car.

I think there was a little tift about some edgy material posted a while back. I think she may be keeping quiet for a bit to reduce tensions.
I hope it blows over. I miss Jaybird. She's fun.

She's fine.

If all goes as planned, I'll see her the weekend of April 19 for the Missouri Endurance Run.

I believe that she may even be making arrangements for a new addition to her collections of MGs.

Ingram, you peeking in my windows again?

I'm fine, flooding is a distance from us - for now. Think '93 and say a prayer it doesn't become that bad for a lot of people.

I've been busy. And quiet. For reasons known to some, and not others. I've been ridiculously busy and occupied outside of the internet.

I might have bought a 1970 split bumper MGBGT named Minerva. From Baz.

Ingram, betcha a brewski I beat you in the endurance rally.

Janel!,

Great to hear that you're OK.
Thought I was going to have to make
some kind of rude remark to get you
"out of the woodwork".

YOU'RE ALIVE!

Hope to cruise by in New Orleans next weekend. Will be sans TR6, it's still not feeling well and has a slight fever. Will keep it in bed for a while longer.

Hiya Birdie! :savewave:

Nice to hear all is well Janel! I think your presence is missed by more than you realize.

Welcome back Janel.

Might? She's sitting on the drive next to the garbage. Don't forget last years MER, take a fuel pump!

Nah...just trying to be aware of my surrounding and keep on top of what's happening in the MG world! Didn't take me too long to figure out the B/GT. You've found a good one! All it needs is an additional four cylinders (oh, that's right..you've got that covered, right?) Oh..you'll be needing bonnet and hatch struts for that beauty...and I've got a sale running on them right now!

As for the MER...right now, it's still up in the air as to if I will be able to attend....work schedule is all screwed up. I do have a room reserved at the RRI, though!

Hi Janel good to see ya, you still running around with MGs? Some day if you save your money you can buy a good British car.

How ya doing Birdie?

So what is the accepted length of time before fellow BCF people start looking on E-Bay for the cars of inactive [possibly deceased] members?

(not to be insensitive or anything)

30 days?
90?
6 months?

Are there etiquette rules?

You mean that it's considered bad form to go round to the grieving family and offer to take the cars off their hands "so they have one less thing to worry about"
