I always remember that a vastly prefer either cheese nips over cheez it's or vice versa, but I think it is the nips that taste like cardboard, and the cheez it's are more flavorful. Basil, maybe you suffer the same confusion, and switched cheese crackers without knowing it?
Maybe they are both bad now. But I think there are a couple of factors at work here, a lot of things don't taste as good to me as they used to. Perhaps it is a combination of some suppliers changing (cheapening) recipes and formulas as is the way of the world these days. But alas I think part of it is aging buds, no, not you guys, my internet buddies, my taste buds. I have tried to figure out the bud thing. Sweet and salty still seem to work pretty well, but savory is more hit or miss. You can imagine what effect this has had on my already poor eating habits.
