Jim- If you're talking the inverted 'U' in the dash the steering column fits into, it is approx. 2 1/2" W and 2 1/2" H.

I'm thinking it's going to be doable.
I have a set of dash gauges for the early cars - hopefully they will work and fit etc... I really like that look.
I also already have a very nice 13.5 inch steering wheel, I will have to adapt it to the column but hopefully that won't be too hard.
My earlier steering wheel worked out fine in the green car. The next one is going to be awesome though!
