Finished the assembly and have the IRS installed. Used Classic Jags bronze bushings, first class, rebuilt and powder coated everything else. Not that hard a project if you take your time. Amazing how much gunk builds up after 33 years.

Nice photos of the rrar cage, but I am curious asto what this is out of. My '67s don't have the parking brake mechanism that yours has, but wrather a straight cable from the brake to the calipers. How well does this assembly work??
This is from my 1971 series 2 OTS. The brake cable activates the mech. that presses the parking brake pads to the rotors. Simple sissor mech , work fine. Have not had a problem in the 10 years I have had the car. Rick

It is interesting that they went to the leverage type mechanism after the straight pull cable of the late 60s. They must have felt they needed the extra leverage, although I haven't had any problems with the pads holding at all.
