Don, I'm not sure what you keyed in for a part number but 2A715 is for a 5/8-18 Banjo bolt. If you Google search for "2A715 bolt" you will find it at several sources. Likewise, if you search for "12H1405 nipple" you will come up with the 5/8-18 hose nipple. However, the MM web site is working VERY slow today.

I had forgotten about the EGR connections on later cars. Perhaps that is what you measured at close to 3/4" or 7/8".

One is for the EGR steel pipe. That one is more or less in the center of the manifold and it's NPT threads if you have the 72-76 version of the manifold.
The one for the Brake servo is closer to the rear carb and unless someone rethreaded it should still be 5/8-UNF.
But I guess anything is possible either out of whim or necessity by a past owner.

Do they both have the same amount of vac Ken?. Do they make a single outlet for that?

Doug, when I read your post the first time I understood it as the second part# was the same as the first but a used version.

Oh, I think I see where you're headed. You want to just put a plug in the
5/8 UNF hole for the Servo instead of the banjo outfit, and put an NPT threaded hose barb in the NPT hole for the Servo Vacuum.
Yeah, that would work; the vacuum is the same; it's the same everywhere in the manifold.
I believe you could find the threaded hose barb at Lowes, etc, in the plumbing section and just any 5/8 UNF bolt (as long as it's not too long) to plug that other hole and Bob's...well, you know who Bob is..

1/2"NPT to 3/8ths or better yet 5/16 hose
 
You'll probably have to stack two of them to get that combination, Don. Try looking for a 1/2" to 1/4" NPT bushing, plus a 1/4" NPT to 5/16" hose barb adapter. Should be able to find those at your local hardware store (my Home Depot has them).

I see one at MMC for 3/8 hose. Actually they have 6 depending on what they're made of, but a SS one is part #5361K38.
Yeah, Home Depot, Lowes, ACE, places that make up hydraulics.
My small town NAPA has a good supply of stuff like that, too.

My Lowes and HD didn't have 1/2 NPT to hose at all.
My local Screw store had 1/2 hose but that's way to big.
My napa is out at the moment and he didn't know what size the hose barb was

Randall, that's in the back of my mind but would rather find a single first. If I do have to go 5/16 hose then I will need to do that,cause I don't think the 1/2 NPT to 5/16 hose is a doer.

I did look at Mc M first, must have missed them
 
If this is for the manifold vacuum as I suspect it is, even though you say you want to keep this particular project some kind of a secret and if the ID of the hose is 5/16 but the OD of the barb is 3/8, you'll be fine with a hose clamp. If for some reason you end up with a vacuum leak, just wrap the barb with tape or coat it with silicone sealer before you slip the hose on the barb nipple. There's not going to be an awful lot of Vacuum. It might be different if it were a constant pressure trying to leak out of the fitting, but a vaccum if anything will be trying to make the union tighter..as opposed to pressure which would be trying to expand the hose around the nipple.
 
Well.. like I said if a hose clamp won't seal it, you got some serious big Vacuum, ,,,must not be the manifold. Wish I could be of more help but you're not giving me much to work with . Anyway, Good Luck. I'm out of ideas.
