Got my euro carbs on (crabs). After some dissusion with the floats, things seem to be acceptable for the moment except, once it warms up and stop for a few minutes, it spits and sputters for a while. They were waxstat, but I cut the bottom out of the thermo part, emptied the goop and rubber and put a penny 'cross the bottom. I think I might have a vapor lock problem cause it ran fine last night when it was cool.
All in all I'm pleased for now ( if I can get it fixed).
Low and mid range is FANTASTIC !!!! I never would have thought it could be this torquey. I feels like it might not pull as hard above 4K as the DGV did, but that might just feel like that cause it pulls so good down low.
The carbs will have to come back off for final massaging; throttle shafts bushed, new jets and bearing, linkage issues.
Best mod to date for sure.
Do it if you're thinking about it. it really makes it feel like a sports car (when it's not cutting out.)
My computer is down ( never beat on a laptop) so I might not be back for a day or two.
