I am not sure if I am appropriate in saying this here, so I apologize in advance if I did something wrong by this posting. Well, it took 20 years for me to finish the complete restoration on my first bugeye. I still am working on a total restoration for my 69 TR6 and 65 Falcon. It is obvious to me if I am to remain married I have to put up my second bugeye for sale. It will take a lot of work to put this one back on the road, but it is too good to break up for parts. If anyone is interested, I just put it on Craig's List.

Too bad, but for that price, someone will be quite happy with the project!

$800 for a BE? Start at $2K at least. At $800 it will get parted by someone needing a bonnet.

Kellysguy X 2! That car is worth more than $800 and you might consider BAT or eBay.

X 3! The bonnet is easily worth that.

Maybe to an out of the area buyer, but here in the northwest not so much.
Plus I may be wrong but he may be fishing for one of us N.O.S.H.I.T. guys to take it over, like I say I could be mistaken there...

Hmmm...
I just picked up a good running Datsun 210 engine and smooth shifting 60 series transmission on Saturday.

Lately I have seen quite a bit of activity on cars and parts on this site: bugeyeparts.com.
You may want to list it there. Also, when you have a buyer that needs a new bonnet, remember that I have a fiberglass bonnet that we talked about last year. Good Luck on you sale.

Thanks for all the feedback. I have been watching Ebay, and the low end bugeyes just aren't selling. One of the reasons for the lower price is I was hoping to get rid of it quicker because I am out of covered room. I don't want this sitting under a tarp with moisture getting to it. I admit I would like to see someone pick it up that wants to restore it. No bites yet, but I'll see what happens.

Hey I'm happy to post over on bugeyeparts.com for you if you want me to. Just let me know.

Hey Kevin has offered me first look.

:emmersed: :smile-new:

If I buy this car it will be undercover in an enclosed space and it will be restored.
Also hey - I'm nibbling at the very least! Gotta figure out how to transport it here and pay for it but I'd be surprised if one of those who are showing interest in my 5 speed don't buy it today.
I even asked you when I can come see it, maybe you didn't get that PM?

Billy, I hope that :jester: means what I think it means.

Oh, by the way, is anyone interested in the recently acquired bugeye that I'm selling? It's only $2500...Datsun 5 speed with shaft not included....:highly_amused:
