Soory if you read this in the Pub,but I'm Stoked!
I made a deal on the GT.
Nearly new windshield,new battery,newer tires,
Dayton 72 soke chrome wheels ($1200),racing seats,wood-
rim steering wheel,AM/FM/CD.Engine pre-lube system.Carpets
& inner panels replaced.Newer brake pads & shoes.Nearly
new stainless steel exhaust system.
I offered $1700,& the seller accepted it.The body's
good,& I'll get a NOS hood (bonnet),+ the original seats.
The seller said - "Pay me when I get back from my trip".
Kind of like the old days!I offered around $1700 for it-
(I didn't want to borrow a lot of money).
I think I got a great deal.Your thoughts?

I love my '69 Tourer with wire wheels.

Great cars! You won't be sorry!

And, sounds like a good deal to boot.

If it's been sitting for a while, don't forget to top up the shocks with oil......most of the Bs I see have bone dry shocks.

Post pictures!

IMHO 1967 was the very best.
Does it have OD - if so then that's even better.

Like I said over there - you'll love driving that car, especially if it has OD.

Thanks! I'm having a little trouble waiting,but
I need to make room for it.The seller is very understanding,
& willing to work with me.There's also a new hood that goes
with it.
I've decided to try & sell the 3 Datsun B210s that I have,
to cover this.Anyone interested? If so,check my ad on the
humboldt,california craigslist.I'm open to offers!

Wow! too much going on here.Cars coming at me
left-&-right.I've been offered an early Honda CRX,
& a Ford Fiesta is coming up for sale.
Where am I going to put all of this stuff?
Why does everything come along at the wrong time?

That's a basic law of life, Doug. The world is always full of choices, sometimes you just have to put your head down and close your eyes to the other options.

Not that it's always easy to do...

The Fiesta's on eBay - It's gone up enough that I'll pass.
I'm going to talk to /pay the seller of the GT tommorrow. Is
there anyone out there who can come here,& help me finish up
some of my long drawn-out projects?
I need to get the Datsun,or the Cortina sold,or out of
the garage(s)to make room for the GT.Too many cars, too little
work time,& too little money!

I went & looked at the car again,& paid him for it.
$2,000 out-the-door (w/dmv fees).
There's a bunch of extra parts that go with the car,
+ I can keep it stored where it's at (@$1/Ft./per month)

Tony,

I can store it there (in a barn, with a cover on it),
& drive it whenever I want to.That way,I don't have to put
other projects outside.

Still in the camera.I don't know how to download them,
but my Wife does.I also can't post pictures. When I get to it,
would anyone be willing to post them for me?
And I...um...er...haven't exactly told my Wife about it
yet.I guess I'll just tell her I already got my Christmas/-
Birthday (12/31) presents.
If I quit posting here - she didn't buy it!

And now the real reason for storing the car at the seller's place comes out... you're a braver man than I!

Just tell her you found some parts you've been looking for and they come with a car attached to them!
