Anyone have any experience with the Distributor Doctor: https://www.distributordoctor.com/distributor-points.html

Yup, I have dealt with him on several occasions for spare parts.

Quite fair but can be a bit pricey, but there are not many places to go for distributor parts, or indeed a complete refurb and testing. he was able to sort my problem out though, first of all I needed a replacement three legged spring ( this was a used one, nobody makes them as far as I am aware ) on the underside of the fixed plate then I noticed that the hinge pin on the operating arm of the vacuum unit had almost worn through and the hole was elongated so I renewed that and the sad thing was that after I bought the new one ( it was brand new) and installed it, I looked at my old one and repaired it, so I now have a spare for the cost of drilling a slightly bigger hole and using a small section of a 2mm diameter nail for the pin ---Arrgh :wall:
