Ignition coil question

I was checking contacts/wires in the engine compartment and noticed that one of the leads on the ignition coil has a wee bit of looseness to it. I can't see any way of tightening the post. The TR6 has been driving nicely and I need to know if I should be putting in for an immediate replacement. Appreciate your input - Chris

It would certainly be on my list of things to replace sooner rather than later ...

Any opinions on whether to go with the stock type Lucas brand coils or the aftermarket brand that TRF offers?

Is this a coil that has the spade (Lucar) connectors riveted in place (rather than screw posts)? I had such a coil and one of the rivets loosened (and caused intermittent ignition). I cleaned it up well and added a bit of solder to the connection. That took care of the problem though the coil has been demoted to 'on-board spare' status.
