I unnerstan' the theory.
The trouble is the practical part isn't going too well.
I have 200' of bush lined driveway off a busy road. Little room for error. From a truck you can't see the corners so well, so even starting the turn is 'tricky'. Plus I freely admit to being a total incompetant at backing up a trailer.
After 3 disasters I gave up and turned on the flashers...
