If someone made ma a good offer...

I have owned my "project" GT6 for almost 30 yrs....
I actually sold it about 5 yrs ago, but by chance, was able to buy it back about a year later
still sits in the garage, as it always did...
I enjoy collecting parts for it(and another GT6), it'll be my retirement project(someday)

Did the bonnet come with the louvres or did you get it done somewhere? I'm thinking of doing that to my TR3 hood.
Louvers were in the bonnet when I got the car. The traces of Geranium paint , and 4 factory vent holes along the back tell it to be the original bonnet for this car.
I'm guessing the louvers were done sometime before the mid 60s when I believe the car was wrecked, and parked.
They are hand formed, and done by a pro. I like the look of them a lot, but if I were to do them now, I'd like to do 4 rows, straight with the center line, the middle 2 rows longer than the outers.

Glad to see you didn't give up - you give me inspiration to not give up on my '4A - I'm finally back on the forums and trying to catch up on several years of backlog

HAHA too easy of a question. I would part w/any thing I own for the right offer. Its just stuff and you can replace it w/better stuff. LOL

Jim, Very true. Everything's for sale for a price.
I got it moved over in the garage this weekend, and continued on with stripping off the nasty old paint. Now I gotta do everything I did on the other side again.
Took a bit of wind outta the sails to see the other side, and have a flash back of being at square one. I'll be happy when the whole car is in DP primer.
There's always a possibility someone could pull up with a truck,a trailer and a fist full of green, and they could drive home with a decent TR2 project. But I'm not actively trying to do that.
With the likely addition of a crusty VW type 3 fastback soon, I'm working on my own small scale rat-rod/ custom shop.

Sometimes when I tried of working on a project car I quit for a few days drink some beer and do something else. then I get back on the forum and look at other guys projects and finished cars and have to get my hands dirty again. that's what we do, its a sickness.haha Oh I sold three sports car and a harley davidson by guys walking up to my oen garage w/a handfull of cash. not sorry I sold any of them but I'am sorry for the one's I didn't buy.
