Well even though the Downton intake manifold was made for the Bugeye Sprite, it sits to high for the Monza bonnet. Not a surprise really as I have found a few pics of the Monza with a Bonnet Blister. So do I cut my bonnet or go with the stock intake manifold? Remember the Downton manifold was supposed to add more torque to the 948 and it elevates the fuel bowls and reduce the chances of vapor lock with my header. Plus they look cool
Which way would you go? One bad cut and it is back to the paint booth! Any ideas about a premade blister? The ones I have found on the net seem to be a little large (18" long).
