I knew something was wrong the moment I opened the box

I found this on a page specific to trouble codes and mop specifically the code I am getting:

[h=2]Common Causes of P0200[/h]To sum things up, the common causes for code P0200 are as follows:

  • Failed injectors
  • Fault in the injector circuit
  • Problem with the PCM (injector driver)
I eliminated the possibility the injector is bad by swapping injectors and the problem remains at #3. I verified that the circuit to the connector for injector #3 is not working properly. I replaced the connector and did not solve the problem. Tomorrow I plan to do a continuity check on the harness from the PCM to the injector and then clean the connectors at the PCM. If none of that resolves the issue I will order a new PCM.

UPDATE #3. I tried cleaning the contacts with CRM and still throwing same codes. I took a chance and just ordered a new PCM that is supposed to be plug-and-play. We shall see.

Hoping for the best resolution! I don't think it could be anything else at this point.

Rest assured it is always the last thing you change that fixes it.:calm:

It may have to come to this (coarse language ahead)
