GT6 I Give Up! Help A Millennial Out [Carb/Choke Related]

Hopefully you can use one of the backup cables to get you through until Rimmer can send you a replacement.
I know that our factory cable is also just barely long enough to reach the top of the carb. To remove the cover and replace the carb diaphragm you have to carefully push the cable back and there is barely enough room to remove the cover.

In reinstalling the universal one, I think I got it, it functions, but there are these two other holes beside it that I am curious about. What are they for?

I assume you are talking about the two small holes that appear to be on little "L" shaped bent pieces.

I don't know what they are for. They are not on our car's carbs.

Ok... ...so... ...got a refund. They aren't selling the part any more. Any future orders will be the first pull which is a different length (too long) can't fit through the carburetor (too big) and potentially (I know my car is different) not be able to mount up to the dash. So if the second part fits perfectly into whatever vehicle they're selling this for, the first one won't. ...not to mention the pull isn't anything like the other either. Seems really strange.
