The hub for my steering wheel is worn and loose. Wierd thing, never heard of that before but upon inspection the spindle cut out is made of aluminum or soft alloy and when you pull it off metal shavings are there. I have noticed play and this it what I found when I pulled the steering wheel off:
Wheel pulled right off the hub is loose on the splined steering shaft.
metal shavings as noted.
Can rotate the hub side to side because of the wear.
So I need a new hub. Nowhere on my steering wheel is a brandname, nor on the hub. I want to keep the steering wheel as it matches my dash. Anyone of you LBC Internet Guru's recognize the bolt pattern on my wheel?I am thinking Momo, definatley not a Grant bolt pattern.
The top to bottom screw measurement is 4" center to center.
